There are many manufactures that build drywashers of many sizes and many gold prospectors build their own equipment with great success. Drywashing is especially important for prospectors that have no access to water and soil materials are very dry. The basic knowledge of what makes drywashing work is really not that difficult to understand. Most manufactured drywashers have a hopper to seperate larger rocks, a bottom box that looks similar to a sluice box, and an air supply that is either manually provided or from a motorized component.
